One of the ways we live out this mission is by working with an organization called KAN (Kids & Necessities). This local non-profit provides area children with back-to-school supplies through their KAN Cool for School supply drive. The Roydan team is honored to help KAN by donating new school items.
Roydan President, Dan Hornung, who has been volunteering with KAN for several years, shares some of his thoughts about the supply drive. “We are thrilled to help this great organization serve area children by ensuring they are well-equipped to start the new school year. Not having the proper supplies can be a huge stressor for both kids and their parents. This program gives them a positive start to the year by providing them with some of the important items they will need to be successful in the classroom.”
Roydan not only donates items to this worthy cause, but Dan is also on hand during the distribution of supplies. “It is heartwarming to see how something as simple as a backpack full of paper, crayons, pencils and other school supplies can make such a big impact. It makes me realize how much we really take for granted. The Roydan team is privileged to play a small part in helping area children thrive in their academic pursuits. This great organization takes the lead in helping them put their best foot forward.”
